این محصول یک کودی با غلظت بالای پتاسیم است. پتاسیم به انتقال آب و مواد غذایی به بافت‌های گیاهان کمک کرده و نقش مهمی در سنتز پروتئین‌ها، نشاسته و ATP (با فعال کردن آنزیم‌های خاص) دارد. تنظیم باز و بسته شدن روزنه‌ها و تبادل آب، اکسیژن و دی اکسید کربن در گیاهان با دخالت عنصر پتاسیم انجام می شود. این کود با داشتن عناصر میکرو و بویژه منیزیم در مراحل اولیه رشد گیاه علاوه بر بهبود رشد ریشه در تولید سبزینه گیاهان نیز نقش به سزایی ایفا می نماید.
